What are your operating hours?
The park opens 10-3–rain or shine–Friday-Sunday
Where can I park, is there a cost for parking?
Gulf World offers free and paid parking first come first serve basis. There is a parking lot in front of the building and additional parking in back during busy season. Along with an overflow paid parking area during summer months.
Can I buy tickets/programs in advance?
Yes and that is recommended. You can purchase your tickets ahead of time here.

What can I bring to the park?
You can bring swim suits, strollers, wagons, extra clothing and baby food.
Do you offer refunds?
Gulf World has a no refunds policy for bookings. Refunds are only given if a program is cancelled by Gulf World.
What does general admission include?
General admission is an all day pass to see all shows and exhibits. This does not include interactive programs such as swimming with dolphins. You can purchase general admission tickets here:

How long does it take to see the park?
It takes about three to four hours to see the all shows and exhibits.
Do you rent strollers or wheelchairs?
No…but we are stroller and wheelchair friendly.

Is there a place to eat in the park?
Yes! We have locations that are open based on the season we are currently in.
Is the park handicap accessible?
Yes.
May I take pictures?
You can take photos while watching shows and touring exhibits. Photos are not allowed during the interactive programs, but professional digital photo package are included in the program price.
Can I smoke?
Not inside the park…you can smoke outside the front of the park. You can come and go throughout the day.
Is there a store for souvenirs?
Our onsite gift shop offers swimsuits, beach-themed jewelry, home decor, toys, and numerous gift options!
Do you offer first aid?
First aid supplies are available in any of our areas, Photo, Education, Food & Beverage.
Is there a private location to nurse/change my baby?
We have two family restrooms near the front of the park in the kiddie corner. There are also two changing stations in the ladies bathroom adjacent to the snack bar.
Does Gulf World have a lost and found?
Yes, In our Conservation Cove there is one. Please email [email protected] if you are trying to locate something you may have left.
Can I volunteer at the park?
No, however we do have a non-profit Gulf World Marine Institute that has a volunteer program. You can learn more about that here: Institute Click Here

What are the animals fed?
The animals are fed restaurant quality fish, and a variety of other food items depending on the species and it’s required diet.
How does Gulf World acquire animals?
The animal at Gulf World were either rescued and deemed non releasable, donated by a former owner (Dogs, cats, birds) or born in human care.
Are animals encounters safe?
Yes, we take pride in safety protocols for guests and animals.
If I pay for a dolphin encounter, do I have to pay general admission?
No, general admission is included in all interactive programs.
How early should I arrive for my program?
At least 1 hour early if you have a program after 10am. If you have an early morning program 30min early. Please allot for traffic.
