Rough-Toothed Dolphin Encounter

Gulf World is the only facility in the world where guests can interact with rough-toothed dolphins! You’ll experience the power and playfulness of this amazing marine mammal in waist to chest-deep water. There will be a photographer on hand to take photos that you can purchase in the Photo Center. Duration: approximately 30 minutes of shared/group time.

  • Participants (48 inches and above) $160
  • Participants (42 inches to 47 inches) $160 – must be accompanied in the water by a paying participant 18 yrs + (one on one.) Younger children will do alternate behaviors if necessary in the case that the deep water behaviors cannot be completed.
Includes
  • Behaviors: touches, hand target, handshake, mimics and more!
  • All photos included average of 20 digital photos 
  • All-day admission is included with your encounter. Please set aside extra time to explore the park.
Not Included
  • Swimsuit and towels.
  • Food and beverage.
  • Transportation.
Observer Rules
  • Due to limited space, only one paid observer per swimmer over 18 is allowed. Observers are required to pay for general admission plus a $5 observer fee. Swimmers under 18 may have one complimentary observer with the option to pay $5  for one extra observer.

Requirements
  • Bring your swimsuit and towel -- we recommend wearing your swimsuit under  your clothes.
  • Participants must be at least 48 inches tall to do program by themselves.
  • Participants 42 inches tall - 47 inches tall must be accompanied in the water by a paying program participant 18 or older one on one.
  • Participants will be measured before participating in program at check-in.
  • For our animals' safety, wearing jewelry during the program is prohibited.
  • Expectant mothers are not eligible to participate in this program.
  • Participants must be able to speak and understand English.
  • Participants must be free of open wounds and show no signs of illness.
  • No refunds will be given unless cancelled by Gulf World.
Additional Information
  • You must arrive 1 hour prior to  your scheduled program time and account for high season traffic. Programs that have to be rescheduled will be charged a $25 fee per participant.
