SEA Camp

Sea Camp (Ages 8-12)

SEA Camp is a thrilling opportunity for children to come to camp Monday through Thursday! 

Our new and improved Sea camp has even more educational and fun packed activities for your child to enjoy!

Campers can choose to bring their own lunch or receive sliced pizza (cheese or pepperoni). Campers will also receive a popcorn snack, a reusable water bottle, a drawstring backpack, customized curriculum packets focusing on the animals of the day and downloadable photos from the week.

Time: 9:30 (drop off window 9:15-9:30) AM to 2:30 PM. If your child is going to be late or is unable to attend please email [email protected] to let us know.

Monday:        Fintastic Friends  - Campers will learn all about the bottlenose and rough-toothed dolphins. They will attend the Dolphin show as well as participate in an out-of-water Dolphin meet & greet where they will have the opportunity to splash and play with one of our dolphins! Your camper will also receive a dolphin themed curriculum packet, create a special craft and play a dolphin themed game!

Tuesday:        Feathers & Scales - Campers will attend the Feathers & Friends show as well as other educational chats throughout the day. They will have the opportunity to feed our stingrays and our tortoises! They will even get a special photo with one of our birds! Additionally, they will create enrichment items for our birds as well as do a craft, experiment and a special curriculum about many of the animals they got to interact with today!

Wednesday:    Veterinary spotlight on sea turtles - Campers will get a special behind the scenes look into our vet office and Marine Institute! They will see an exam on a live sea turtle, participate in a mock sea turtle rescue, do surgery on a stuffed animal, complete an ocean pollution experiment and a craft. They will also receive a sea turtle themed curriculum!

Thursday:        Pinnipeds & Penguins - Campers will get to make penguin enrichment and watch the penguins play with it! They will also get a sea lion kiss and time with trainers to ask questions. They will do an experiment, craft and curriculum as well as watch the seal and sea lion and penguin chats!

Friday:         *OPTIONAL* Your camper will have the opportunity to participate in our Stingray Snorkel program.
If parents or siblings would also like to participate, they will receive half off of our regular program price.
* Note: Friday is NOT a camp day. Children must be accompanied by an adult.*
Families will have to pay full price for general admission.
Campers are not automatically added to this program and must be added upon request prior to the Friday of their camp.

  • No refunds will be given unless canceled by Gulf World Marine Park.
  • Participants must be 8-12 years old.
  • Participants must wear shoes that have a good grip that you do not mind getting dirty. Sandals with a back strap are preferred. Please no flip flops. While campers will NOT be getting in the water, they may be splashed - so we recommend comfortable clothes that they will not mind getting wet.
  • Participants must be free of open wounds and show no signs of illness.
  • Participants must advise of any medical restrictions, allergies or special needs at the time of reservation.
  • It is recommended that any children with a nut allergy not attend SEA camp as it is highly likely that they will come into contact with nuts, nut residue, and airborne nut particles. 
  • All participants must be able to speak and understand English.
  • Liability release forms and guidelines forms must be signed by a parent or guardian.
